1. Is there a difference between preservation age and pension age?

Yes. You can start accessing your superannuation before the pension age (currently at 65 years) if you reach your preservation age.

2. What is ‘preservation age’?

Preservation age refers to the age you must be to start accessing your super. Preservation age changes as per the Government regulations and varies based on your date of birth. As of July 2016, your preservation age is;
